Girasol Headband

We are so excited to share our limited edition, 100% hand-embroidered headbands in support of Ukraine. Girasol is the Spanish word for sunflowers, and we have partnered with our friends at the Textil Otomi cooperative in central Mexico to make these adorable, one-of-a-kind headbands to support our hermanas in Ukraine.

Women and children make up the vast majority of those impacted by the invasion of Ukraine, and with the proceeds of these headbands we are supporting UN Women’s emergency assistance and services across the nation.

Each headband features the beloved symbol of Ukraine – the sunflower/girasol – in different variations of proud Ukrainian blue and yellow.

Every piece is hand embroidered by a member of the Textil Otomi cooperative in Mexico, and 100% of the proceeds will go towards UN Women’s emergency relief for women and children in Ukraine.
